On Thurs Sept 9th Prentiss County Deputies arrested Travis Dean Owens and charged him with Failing to Register as a Sex Offender his bond was set at $5,000. Owens had initially registered as a Sex Offender in the County but did not remain compliant with the Registration Guidelines. Our Sex Offender Registry Compliance Officer monitors very closely the Offenders in our area to insure that we are aware of any address changes or changes in the Offenders Status. Owens remains in Custody.
