On February 15th, 2018 Carl Jason Lindsey (44) of Baldwyn and Tammy Marria Adams (41) of Booneville were charged with Grand Larceny. They were in possession of a 2002 Ford Explorer which was stolen from a residence on Highway 4 East. The vehicle was recovered by Corinth Police when they discovered the stolen Explorer in the Hospital Parking Lot. The pair were arrested Corinth Police observed them returning to the vehicle. Both subjects were charged with Grand Larceny. Judge Richard Tollison set both subjects bond $10,000 each. Corinth Police Departement assisted in the arrest. Lindsey was also wanted by the Mississippi Department of Corrections
On February 28th, 2018 Douglas Macolm Jackson (54) and Toy David Jackson (59) were charged with Burglary of an unoccupied residence which was on Highway 4 East. A search warrant was executed on the residence, which lead to the recovery of several items that was stolen from the residence. Douglas Macolm Jackson was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Douglas Macolm Jackson's bond was set by Judge Richard Tollison at $10,000 and Toy David Jackson's bond was set at $3,000.
The case is still under investigation and will be presented by Investigator Torie Jumper to the next grand jury. Deputies and Investigators recovered a substantial amount of the stolen property.
This is a case in which we were made aware of the crime by a concerned citizen before it was actual reported to us by the victim. I commend Investigator Jumper on her hard work.
Both incidents stemmed from thefts from the same HWY 4 East residence
