On Weds night July 11th around 11:30PM Deputy Aaron Stolz was investigating the report of a suspicious female walking on CR 3501. Upon Deputy Stolz arrival in the area, he located a Female walking on the side of the road, who he identified as Jennifer Rice Kennedy age 50 of Booneville. Stolz was assisted by Deputy Tyler Reese. While talking to Kennedy Deputy Stolz noticed that Kennedy was acting very nervous. He noticed A silver colored object sticking out of her clothing. He asked her to remove the object and a struggle ensued. Kennedy was attempting to dispose or destroy evidence, which turned out to be Methamphetamine. She was transported to the jail and Corrections Officers discovered more of the controlled substance. Kennedy was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Tampering with Evidence and Failure to Comply with the Lawful Requests of an Officer. Her bond was set at $4,000 and she was released on bond on Friday July 13th. Narcotics Investigator Grady Smith is handling the case and will present it to the next Grand Jury.
