Several members of the Northeast Mississippi Boys and Girls Club Corporate Board attended Corporate Board Training this past week in Biloxi. The training included Fund Raising, Understanding the Role of Board Members, Using the Media/Social Media to Promote the Area Boys and Girls Clubs, and other important elements of having successful Boys and Girls Clubs. The Training was put on by the Mississippi/Louisiana Area Council The picture includes L-R Cindy Clatt, Chairperson (Iuka), Janet Fulton, Board Member (Iuka), Antoine Walker CEO for the Northeast Mississippi Boys and Girls Clubs, Mary Dilworth (Corinth) and Sheriff Randy M Tolar, Board Member (Booneville). A Luncheon was held the last day of the training with Duece McAllister as the Keynote Speaker also recognizing outstanding accomplishments of Boys and Girls Club Members from both Mississippi and Louisiana with scholarship awards.
