Around 11:30 last Weds night March 15th, Prentiss Deputies Taylor Walker and Aaron Stolz were patrolling and noticed two vehicles parked on the back side of Piney Grove Cemetary on CR 1151. During their investigation the deputies discovered contraband in plainview in one of the vehicles and obtained consent to search. The search yielded just over and an ounce of Marijuana and a set of Digital Scales. Alex Kane Lambert 18 of CR 324 Corinth was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance enhanced within 1500 of a Church. His bond was set at $7,500 on the felony charge and $1,000 on a Misdemeanor Possession of Paraphenlia Charge. Deputy Tyler Reese assisted in the case.
