On Sunday Afternoon July 2, Prentiss County Deputies responded to a Burglary in Progress at a home on CR 7422.  .  The suspect had kicked the front door in and during the course of events the resident had hid in the closet and eventually located by the suspect and was held against her will until she managed to escape.  She was located running down the road when the first Deputy arrived.  The suspect, Marcus Dontae Nichols 25 of Plantersville was arrested by Deputies Jeremy Pace, Phillip Owens and Brian Taylor.  in the area after he fled on foot.   Nichols and the victim had at one time been in a relationship.  Nichols was charged with Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and Kidnapping,  His bond was set at $50,000  Several other agencies had active warrants on Nichols and holds have been placed on him for those Departments.  He remains in custody.
