The Prentiss County Sheriff's Office Communications Division is supervised by Devida Felker.

Devida supervises (4) full Time dispatchers and (3) part time dispatchers.

Devida is the TAC Officer for the Sheriff's Office.  Dispatcher Rusty Burroughs is a certified instructor of the APCO 40 hour basic course and responsible for training and certifying all dispatchers.

The Dispatchers responsibility is to relay communications to the patrol deputies,  and operate the computer system, running license plate numbers and drivers license numbers.  These dispatchers also must enter stolen property and articles that have serial numbers, increasing the likelihood of it being recovered.  This is a vital link between the public and law enforcement.
