Criminal Investigations

The investigation division of the Prentiss County Sheriff's Office is comprised of two full time Criminal Investigators Torie Jumper and Taylor Walker and one part time Criminal Investigator Dewayne Mink.  These investigators are experienced in investigating a wide variety of crimes.  These investigators have specialized training such as crime scene, interview and interogation, analysis of cellular telephone records and data along with interpreting cell tower site information.  We are committed to providing the most up to date handling of any crime scene investigation

Most recently Attorney General Inv. Brian Taylor has been assigned to work with a specialized task force working out of the Attorney General's Office regarding Internet Crimes Against Children.  This Task Force has been very successful investigating cases of Possession, production  and dissemination of Child Pornography. across the State.

Our investigations of felony property crimes has led to the recovery of 100's of thousands of dollars in stolen property.
