During the Early morning hours of Saturday November 7th Deputies arrested Tracy Stroupe 44 of 921 CR 624 Ripley after discovering almost 20 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine in his possession. Stroupe was stopped on CR 8561 as the result of a traffic infraction. Deputies also seized 1994 Chevrolet Sonama, a 22 cal. rifle and $921 cash. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) with the intent to sell or distribute, enhanced while in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $20,000 on the drug charges and he remains in jail at this time. He was also charged with other misdemeanor offenses and bond was set at $6,000 on those charges.
