Prentiss County Deputies and Investigators made two arrests of individuals responsible for two burglaries that occurred in recent months. The case was broken when Investigators developed leads that pointed to the pair as suspects. Deputies were alerted to be on the look out for them while on patrol. Deputy Jeremy Pace spotted one of the suspects, Britt Adam Wheeler 29 of Booneville, driving on May 11th and attempted to stop him. Wheeler attempted to flee and not stop for the Deputy. The deputy noticed a small child in the vehicle and discontinued the pursuit. Pace then proceeded to the suspects residence and located the automobile hidden behind the house. Wheeler fled on foot but was eventually captured. During the brief pursuit, Wheeler threw objects from the vehicle that was later recovered and determined to have been stolen from one residences that was burglarized.
The second Suspect Bradley Dean Jackson 35 of Booneville was arrested on May 18th when he turned himself in to authorities. Both have been charged with two burglaries, one on CR 8301 and the other on HWY 364.. Both their bonds were set at $50,000. Both remain in custody. Jackson was under supervision of the Ms Department of Corrections Probation and Parole, who have placed a Hold on him.
