PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) – A man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for the murder of Andrea Nicole Fleming. According to the Office of District Attorney John Weddle, 27-year-old James Erik Robinson was given that sentence. On May 1, 2015, Robinson and Fleming were in an altercation when Robinson shot and killed Fleming. The sentencing Circuit Judge Jim Pound gave Robinson for the second degree murder charge will be served day-for-day. District Attorney John Weddle stated, “I commend Sheriff Randy Tolar and lead Investigator Derrick Hester for a thorough and professional investigation of this murder case, and I would also like to thank Assistant District Attorney David Daniels for his hard work.”
