On Weds night 11/16/1016 Prentiss County Deputies arrested Michael Joe Leslie 44 of Rienzi and Kimberly Ann Mathis 32 of Rienzi after a traffic stop on Gaston Rd. Deputies discovered several grams of Methamphetamine in their possession. Leslie was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) enhanced while in possession of a firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and several other misdemeanor offenses, Mathis was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) and several Misdemeanor offenses. Leslie's bond was set at $25,000 on the Felony charges and $1,000 on the other charges. Mathis bond was set at $5,000 on the Felony charge and $4,500 on the Misdemeanor charges. The cases will be presented to the next Grand Jury. Deputy Wesley Graves made the traffic stop and was backed up by Deputy Aaron Stolz. Narcotics Investigator Grady Smith is handling the case.
