On March 4th, 2018 it was reported to the Prentiss County Sheriff's
Department that a shop had been burglarized on County Road 7030.  Several
items were reported missing from inside the shop.
Michael Ray Carroll (49) on County Road 1161, and Kyson R. Barnes (16)
have been charged with burglary of a commercial building, as an adult after having been previously charged and indicted as an adult for allegedly committing a crime with a firearm,  Kristin
Nicole Dunlap (24) has been charged with receiving and disposing of
stolen property. Bond has been set on all three suspects. Kyson R.
Barnes bond has been revoked by the District Attorney's Office due to
the fact he was already out on a felony bond of aggravated assault
with the Booneville Police Department. Some items have been recovered
that was reported missing from the shop. Deputy Rusty Burroughs, Aaron
Stolz, and Colby Adams assisted in the arrest. The case will be
presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury by Investigator Torie Jumper who is Investigating the case.
