On Sat. April 22 Deputies Gunter Brumley, Taylor Walker and Tyler Reese were conducting a roadside safety checkpoint on CR 1151.  Deputies arrested Anthony Gene Floyd of Water Tank Road Booneville and charged him with Possession of Controlled Substance.  He was found to be in Possession of approx. a 1/2 gram of Methamphetamine.  The other occupant, a female was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.   His bond was set at $7,500 but remains in custody because to a hold that was placed on Floyd by MDOC due to him  being under their supervision.
