On Tuesday Afternoon November the 27, the Prentiss County Sheriff's investigated the report of a Burglary on CR 6010 North of Baldwyn. Deputy Taylor Walker and Investigator Torie Jumper initiated the investigation. Investigator Jumper and Deputy Aaron Stolz continued the investigation in the following days and discovered that pieces of Jewelry stolen during the burglary were sold or pawned at a local pawn shop shortly after the burglary, as well as information that he had pawned a firearm recently and is a convicted felon. The investigation lead to the arrest of Joshua O'Neal Chandler 31 of Baldwyn. Chandler is charged with Burglary of a Dwelling and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. His bond was set at $10,000 on both charges. This case is a good example of a good solid Police Investigation and due diligence of all the Deputies and the Investigator that resulted in a very timely arrest.
