On January 24th 2019 the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Mississippi Department of Corrections in apprehending Terry Joe Prater (30) from Booneville. Prater was wanted for a parole violation. In connection with his arrest Ashley Marie Trujillo (28) and Crystal Lynn Wallis (33) were charged with Hindering Prosecution, Rendering Criminal Assistance in Praters arrest. 
A hold was placed on Terry Prater for Mississippi Department of Corrections. Judge Richard Tollison set bond for Ashley Trujillo and Crystal Wallis at $5,000.00 each. Deputies Aaron Stolz, Dennis Peeks, Brandon Slack and Doug Rakestraw assisted with the arrest.
